Product Overview
Steel billet refers to the family of semi-finished steel products made by continuously casting molten steel. They are classified by cross-sectional dimensions and end use. Production involves melting in an electric arc furnace (EAF), ladle refining, casting in continuous moulds and cutting to standard lengths. The chemical composition, purity and crystalline structure of these products directly affect the quality of the finished goods.
